Each week, students will have math fact fluency homework. Students's goal is to be able to recall these facts in under 3 seconds. If students do not finish their fact fluency homework, they will have to complete it at school, during their free time. Students will also get a challenging "Problem of the Week". As these are a challenge, students will be rewarded if they complete it correctly and within the week. Students are not required to complete this, but are encouraged to attempt the problem.
Other programs we will be using:
Mathletics: an online, individualized math program using Manitoba curriculum to assess students understanding
Everfi Hockey Scholars: math, science and engineering concepts are explored through the game of hockey; with individual accounts and progress
